i have a hard lump about the size of a pea in my tongue.it hurts when i press it and it is movable.i bit my tongue recently, could this be the cause?

Trauma: It is probably caused from biting your tongue. You should get it looked at and possibly removed if it stays longer than 2 weeks.

Yes: Have an oral surgeon look at it. It ia probably just the bite damage healing, but who knows if something else is going on?
