UTI, kidney function: If nocturia is a new symptoms need to check for UTI and kidney functions. If has been a chronic symptom and no cause was found in the past- possible causes are drinking water late at night, eating late at night. Better to check with your doctor.

Drink earlier: Try consuming more of your liquids earlier in the day and decreasing the volume in the afternoon and evening. If you have leg or ankle swelling, you should see a doctor. Although unusual at your age, prostate swelling can possibly contribute to this issue, especially if you have difficulty starting or stopping your urinary stream; your physician can evaluate this further.
