What is ovulation and how do you figure out when you're ovulating?

Release of egg.: Ovulation is the release of the egg from the ovary. The egg travels down the fallopian tube into the uterus where it wil implant if it is fertilized. Ovulation reliably occurs 14 days prior to each period. If your periods are regular it is easy to calculate. If your period are irregular get yourself an ovulation predictor kit from the pharmacy.
