Prob ovulation: Timing is right for ovulation. Cycle day 1 is the first day of your period. If you have a 28 day cycle, ovulation occurs on cycle day 14. Your most fertile time is a day or two before ovulation, and you might notice a clear, egg-white mucous discharge. If you don't get pregnant, you period starts 14 days after ovulation.
