Probably not: Globus hystericus is a feeling of something in your throat when everything else as a possible cause has been effectively ruled out. More commonly, this could be the first sign of gastroesophageal reflus, or gerd. You should see either an ENT and/or a GI doc to find out if there is anything causing this feeling.
