Caution: Both affect the serotonin receptors and they are usually cautioned from used together (seizure risk). Talk to your physician for advice as they are used at times when others don't help.

Tramadol: In most people this is a same combination assuming you have been on Amitriptyline for a while now. Also important is any other medication you are on, given tramadol, a great and safe pain medication, does have some interactions.
