Lasix/spironolctone : Pulmonary edema responds best to loop diuretics along with spironolactone (aldosterone antagonism). Beta blockers and afterload reductions shoukd be initiated if hemodynamically stable. Long term assessment of the cause is important (is it due to ischemia, valvular disease, arrhythmia, or hypertension).
