My boyfriend suffers from heel spurs, is it effective if he gets an operation?

Last resort: Other treatments are usually effective where surgery is not needed. It's the fascia that is usually painful not the spur.

Heel spur : Surgery for heel spurs and plantar fascitis is generally a very successful procedure. I don't suggest doing them at the same time.
