Type of tumor: Tumors are segregated into origin and degree of aggressiveness. Certain tumors are essentially slow growing such as tumors of breast that may remain at site of development for months or years before spreading. Other lesions when defined such as pancreatic cancer are lethal from day one. Tumors also classified as low or high grade such as nuclear grade and number of mitotic figures.
