Nasal discharge: First, i would recommend an over-the-counter antihistamine. Nasal steroids can be helpful, too, but these require a prescription. There are other prescription medicines as well, like Atrovent Nasal Spray which is used for certain types of runny nose, called vasomotor rhinitis.
