No: There are studies showing that l-arginine improves the blood pressure for pregnant patients with pre-ecclampsia, but it is not a required supplement fore pregnant mothers per se.

Diet: L-arginine is found in foods such as soy, pumpkin seeds and dairy products. I am unaware of any need to specifically supplement this in your diet if you are pregnant.
