Electrics brain wave: Seizures are amused by abnormal discharges in the brain. Complex partial seizures require a work up. They may have many causes.

FOCAL SEIZURES: By definition a complex partial seizure is initially a localized event that may generalize, and due to various lesions affecting the "limbic cortex", areas involving the temporal lobe. Causes include congenital malformations, vascular abnormalities, head trauma, usage of drugs especially speed, meth, cocaine, and a whole series of tumors, infections, metabolic derangements.
