Diabetes: Joining the marines or any military position is both honorable and physically challenging. During boot camp, you will be up very early in the am to training and running. You need to stay on top of your blood sugar. You have to keep your fasting blood sugar between 70-130. If you take your diabetic medicine, make sure you don't skip meals. Wear comfortable orthotics in your boots. Check with md.
