Is it possible for blood to show if you have an intestinal infection/disease?

Depends on the: Type of infection/disease. Some diseases have particular antibodies in blood that suggest the presence of the disease, e.g., celiac disease. Parasites may cause increase in eosinophils. However, your doctor needs to order specific tests for the suspected disease.
