There's a chance: There is a chance the hernia can recur, and that is related to the hernia itself (size, location), the patient (obesity, smoking, medical problems), and the technique and experience of the surgeon. Your activity once healed shouldn't have an impact. Overall risk is very low for a group, but unpredictable for an individual. Hope this helps!
