Gestation/Incubation: When we talk about gestation period, we are talking about pregnancy. When we talk about period from exposure tuberculosis until disease develops, we talk about incubation period. The incubation period for TB is from 2 to 12 weeks after exposure. So a skin test can convert to posiitve between 2 to 12 weeks after exposure.
