A member asked:

If ivf is suggested due to celix and fallopian tube block, is laproscopy a possibility?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

IVF: Im not sure what celix is, but if you have tubal blockage then you have two choices ivf or laparoscopy. But this depends on the severity of the blockage. Your age and other factors are also important considerations. Women over 40 should probably go straight to ivf. If you have tubal blockage associated with hydrosalpinx then you need laparscopy to remove the tubes then undergo ivf.
