I'm 40w and 4days pregnant and i'm scared of being induced because people say its twice as bad is this true? :/

Not really: The process is more prolonged and you will be in the hospital and more restricted than you would be at home. Whether the contractions are more intense is arguable but that is balanced by an epidural being more readily available. None of that makes it a worse experience, just different.
