Neurologists diagnose and treat nervous system/brain disorders, but what do they specifically do for treatment?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Various: I prescribe medications for seizures, ms, parkinson dz, headache, stroke...And many other conditions which don't need surgery. I inject Botox for dystonia, spasticity, and headache. I do nerve blocks for headache and some limb nerve pain problems. I do soft tissue injections for bursitis and inflamed si joints. But most importantly, i try to find out what's wrong. It all starts there.
