A member asked:

How do a manic phase and an anxiety attack differ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Different: This is not my area of expertise, and a mental health professional is the one to consult with; however you have been waiting a while for an answer. Manic phase seems to indicate a manifestation of bipolar depression, while a panic attack or anxiety are a different problem altogether. Bipolar is a diagnosis that used to be called manic depression, but is just one component of disorder. Good luck!
