I'm suffering badly with mental health problems. having panic attacks and anxiety prozac (fluoxetine) makes me go into a state of mania. bi polar? borderline?

Prozac (fluoxetine) along with other drugs are used in bipolar but if you have bipolar it is possible to set off mania in a person diagnosed with bipolar disorder not on any other meds. It is important not to self diagnose and get a thorough evaluation so you can get the right medication for you. If you are having problems on Prozac (fluoxetine) call your doctor.
