Mania ??!: What do you mean by that? Prozac (fluoxetine) along with other drugs are used in bipolar but if you have bipolar it is possible to set off mania in a person diagnosed with bipolar disorder not on any other meds. It is important not to self diagnose and get a thorough evaluation so you can get the right medication for you. If you are having problems on Prozac (fluoxetine) call your doctor.

Maybe bipolar: Selective seratonin reuptake inhibitors like Prozac (fluoxetine) can trigger mania in those with bipolar disorder, however, you will need to see a psychiatrist or psychologist for a definitive diagnosis.
