What is the probability of a parents passing lupus onto their children?

Possibly: When family members have autoimmune diseases, there is always a risk that other family members may develop an autoimmune disease though it may not be same exact disease. Autoimmune diseases can't be predicted based on genetics alone---there other enviromental factors that may affect their development.
