ANSWER: First keep taking risperidal (risperidone) at the dose your dr ordered. Then try a stool softener. If the dr says so, try a laxative - but laxatives are trouble when taken all the time. Drink lots of water. Talk with your dr about this. It's not a trivial problem and your dr should know and help.
