Yes: It's less likely for you to acquire diabetes if you don't get much weight gain on Geodon (ziprasidone) or risperdal. Weight gain contributes to Insulin resistance and development of type ii diabetes. Diabetes is possible in thin people. It is usually type i or type ii that is Insulin dependent frequently. This is not the pattern we see in case of Geodon (ziprasidone) or risperdal, though.

Yes you can: Geodone causes weight gain which is a risk factorfor diabetes, and risperdol is also known to cause high blood sugar and may be responsible for some cases of type2 diabetes especially who have family history and are obese but indepenedent of the drugs like geodone/risperdol light people who are not obese can get type2 diabetese in some individual.
