Tooth sensitivity: Yes after tissue is removed to expose more tooth structure you can experience some tooth sensitivity. First recommendation is to begin using desensitizing tooth paste. If sensitivity persists or gets worse it is always recommended the you speak with your dentist.

Variable: You can try using some over the counter toothpaste for sensitive teeth, or you can get a prescription for a stronger medicaments from your dentist. Additional in office treatment for desensitizing the teeth with special agents are available as well, all these remedies can work to a certain degree. You will need to avoid extreme temperatures .Talk to your dentist.
