Need more info: Was this a small bowel series or just a x-ray. What was the abnormal finding? This is not a question that can be accurately answered.

Non specific finding: Many possibilities include bowel obstruction, partial or complete, bowel wall thickening possibly inflammation, edema , or other. Bottom line: this finding must be interpreteted in conjunction with symptoms, history, and laboratory results.
