A member asked:

I'm helping someone with thyriod and anxiety disorder. what should i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Treatment, education: If they haven't already, encourage them to get treatment. A thyroid disorder alone can cause anxiety if left untreated. Educate yourself about anxiety. Be supportive, but at the same time look after yourself. You don't want to become too overwhelmed or have difficulty yourself.
