Yes!: Hyperthyroidism, over active thyroid gland causing you to have too much thyroid hormone can make you feel very anxious. Can cause tremors, loss of sleep , loss of appetite. Easily diagnosed by blood test!

Thyroid: The presence of thyroid disease is associated with the onset of a number of mental health disorders. Anxiety is one of those. There is no evidence that anxiety causes thyroid disease.
