What would be appropriate to eat after you get your wisdom teeth pulled?

What to avoid...: A soft healthy, nutritious diet is always better than ice cream and shakes, but you also need to be somewhat careful. Avoid hard, crunchy foods that might not break down in your sockets like nuts, popcorn shells, seeds, cellulose, etc. You might also want to avoid yogurt with live cultures until any gum flaps and your sockets close later. I have seen 2 infections in yogurt "enthusiasts".

Nutrition? Go Soft!: The best foods to eat after a tooth extraction are those that are soft and do not have small seeds or hard parts in the food item. Yogurt, scrambled eggs, soups, mashed potatos, are great. Things like popcorn, seseme seeded breads, deli crackers, although soft should be avoided to minimize small particles from packing into to the extraction site. Maintain soft diet for 3 days after removal.
