A few: There are a few drugs that can help with weight loss, if diet and exercise have failed. In order of increasing efficacy: 1. Glucophade (metformin) 2. Alli (orlistat) 3. Phentermine 3. Belviq (lorcaserin) 5. Victoza (liraglutide) and bydureon 6. Topamax (topiramate) 7. Qsymia (phentermine and topiramate) (topiramate + phentermine) unfortunately, side effects tend to increase in proportion to weight loss efficacy.
