Yes,of course!: Hair growth is regulated byhormones in our body. So any hormonal derangments can cause hair loss of varing degrees(usually thinning).Some infections of the scalp skin can cause hair loss(usually patchy). The more severe foms of hair loss are caused by chemotherapy drugs commonly used to treat cancer.
