A member asked:

What are the health effects of laser hair removal and a colposcopy that resulted in a biopsy?

Unrelated.: Follow the results of your colposcopy. Laser hair removal has had nothing to do with the cause or results of colposcopy. The laser energy used for hair removal does not penetrate more than a millimeter or two within the skin, and is not ionizing radiation anyway (it is infrared, causing a thermal--heat--response that destroys the hair follicle). These are totally unrelated.

None: There is no correlation between laser for hair removal and cancer. It is an unfortunate coincidence that after LHR a colposcopy found a lesion
