Each time my boyfriend and i have intercourse, i get a bladder infection a few days later. what would cause this?

Sex and UTI's: You have what is know as "honeymoon cystitis". You should urinate after you finish having sex in an attempt to avoid your uti's. A woman's urethra is shorter than a man's so bacteria can travel to the bladder easier in a woman. Once you urinate, the bacteria go into the toilet with your urine. Good luck.
