Be aware of fat: Eat less fried and fatty foods. Increase your consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables, eat lean meats and low fat diary products. Instead of whole milk, chose skim milk and low fat cheeses. Read labels and choose products that are less than 30% of the calories as fat, especially saturated fats.
