Meds: A persistent cough associated w/ tight chest is usually due to bronchospasm. Your doctor can prescribe a bronchodilator inhaler which will relieve the bronchospasm and perhaps a steroid inhaler to decrease inflammation. Your doctor can also determine if your cough is due to some other etiology and treat that as well. Good luck!
