Several options: If you have access to medical care, then it's best consulyour doc for eval/treatment, likely an albuterol inhaler, a steroid inhaler by itself or in combo with a longer-acting albuterol-type, or even oral steroid, and possibly some cough syrup. Likely cause is viral and should resolve, but the coughing/spasm may persist. Otc Primatene Mist for a few days is also reasonable. Consult doc. Good luck.
