i get this tightness or a pinching feeling in my chest, just for seconds from time to time. sometimes feel it when i walk. keep getting a dry cough?

Not heart: Tightness or pinching in the chest for just a few seconds is no a symptom of coronary heart disease. Coronary artery disease can cause chest discomfort(Angina) that is BROUGHT ON BY EXERTION, lasts several minutes, and often CAUSES YOU TO STOP WALKING TO GET RELIEF. ANGINA is often described as a heaviness or pressure in the chest. See a physician if your cough persists. If you smoke: Quit.
