Go see your doctor: Tight chest w/dry cough makes me think of bronchoconstriction or wheezing. This is a relatively common symptom of respiratory infections so it's best to go see family doc. A short acting bronchodilator such as albuterol will most likely take care of tight chest. With that said, this is all speculation. If you feel lightheaded, nauseated, short of breath, chest pain/pressure, don't wait. Call 911.
