Yes: Sometimes people only have a significant refractive problem in one of their eyes. Its ok to only do the one eye.

Yes.: Lasik surgery is routinely done for mono vision in older than 42 year olds. It is also done on kids with resistant amblyopia and high refractive errors (often excessive farsightedness in the lazy eye). Also in people of any age that may have glasses & cl intolerable anisometropia. Your eye md can explain if you are a candidate.
