Depends: You have to burn off 3500 calories that you don't take in to lose one pound. Depends upon how severe the anorexia is. See a psychiatrist for treatment before severe problems arise.

A 44-year-old member asked:

Please tell me how long it takes for to see a difference in weight loss?

Depends: Upon how fast you lose and what your current weight is. It takes 3500 calories burned off that you didn't eat to lose one pound, so there is no fast weight loss that's real. You want to learn how to eat and exercise for the rest of your life, not just this week.

Can someone tell me how long will it take me to notice weight loss?

That depends on how: Overweight you are and how rapidly you lose weight. To lose weight insure that calories burned exceed calories consumed. Drink at least 8 - 8 ounce glasses of water per day. Aim for at least 5 servings of vegetables and 4 servings of fruit per day. Use whole grain when possible. Avoid sodas, alcohol & junk carbohydrates. Get in a good mix of aerobic & weight lifting exercises.

Can you tell me some helpful weight loss tips please?

Weight loss tips: Dedication. Determination. Patience. Whatever your weight, you didn't get there overnight. A good goal is to loose 1-2 lbs a week. You need to pick a diet based on your height, weight, age, medical condition, and stick to it. Best to review with a dietician. Then, you need a dedicated, daily, exercise plan. Reviewed with a trainer or your physician. The first two weeks will be the hardest.
A 38-year-old member asked:

Can you tell me how to speed up my weight loss please help?

Speed leads 2 regain: I never recommend speeding up weight loss. When you go on a "diet" the odds of keeping the weight off aren't good. For long term lifestyle change that will help you lose & keep the weight off, focus on fruits, vegetables, protein (plant > animal) & healthy fats. Carbs should be whole grain. Avoid processed foods, soda, sugar, white bread, crackers, cookies, chips, white rice & other refined carbs.
