Female, 30, waist-height ratio 37.6%, bmi 17.47. internet says "anorexia" levels. taking adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) for adhd but afraid of appetite loss. if these numbers do not get lower, still importanttogain weight?

Too thin vs too fat: The ideal bmi is somewhere between 18-25 and i would say that by current us "social standard", under 25 is probably considered thin. By definition, you are underweight, but mildly so. If you've always been on the skinny side, then i would not worry too much. If you lost significant wt since on adderall, (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) then this should change. Make sure u eat well, do wt bearing exercises! see doc. Good luck.

Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) could : Cause weight loss. It will be important to add in Remeron (mirtazapine) if your appetite drops so as not to drop your bmi any lower.Bmi less than 16 is severe and could result in hospitalization. Best wishes for a happy holiday season.
