How long does it take to notice a weight loss in an anorexic teenager?

Weight loss: Sometimes quite awhile. The ill teenager often tries to hide the weight loss, wearing bulky clothes, covering arms and legs so that weight loss is covered over. When parents observe this behavior they should insist on finding the truth and then take their child to their physician for diagnosis and treatment.

Muscle twitch: Muscle twitch is the first sign that there is abnormal breakdown of energy - the earliest sign of weight loss will be noticable before obvious sign of weight loss.
