Depends: Many factors contribute to life expectancy, and it is difficult to predict. Usually start with surgical removal of as much of the tumor as possible, which is very difficult given the location and disrupts other body functions. Radiation and chemotherapy are also likely to be used. It is a challenging disease with a difficult course.
