I have severe joint pain in my left hip and right ankle. could this be something serious like osteosarcoma?

Unlikely: Osteosarcoma is very rare. There are only about 450 new cases/year in the us. That this is osteosarcoma is unlikely. However, because the pain is significant and not improving i would be seen by an orthopedic specialist to better evaluate this with physical exam and potentially imaging like xrays.
