Rarely: Osteosarcoma is most commonly seen in the long bones like at the end of the femur, tibia and humerus. However, osteosarcoma can be seen anywhere but it is much more rare in the ribs perhaps 1% of cases. More commonly seen in the ribs are ewing sarcoma.
