Ankle: It depends on how long the fractured has been healed and the type of activity. Best advise is start slowly and increase slow. Swimming, biking are great to increase rom without damage.

How far along are : You in the healing process? Once bone healing is complete, there will be both range of motion and strengthening exercises. A simple version of range of motion exercises involves moving your foot only at the ankle and drawing out the letters of the alphabet as large as you can. Strengtheing can involve raising up on your toes on both feet, then the injured one by itself as tolerated.
