Worsen pain: Not only do you build up tolerance but studies are showing you start having increased pain sensation.Saying you have a high pain tolerance because you take a lot of oxy is incorrect. You actually have a lower pain tolerance than average after extended use.

Brain damage: Narcotic cause brain damage down the road, not right away. Taken when not needed they are harmful and if one has pain , it is best to find the cause and get rid of the cause than covering any pain with narcotics and let the cause persist.

Abuse: Decreased hormone production, decreased libido, fatigue, makes non painful things more painful (makes jamming ur finger hurt more than normal), osteoporosis, increases infections cause white blood cells can't move around well., physical dependency.
