Acid blockers...: Management of heartburn is two-fold. Dietary changes include avoiding citrus, chocolate, carbonated drinks, alcohol, smoking or eating too fast or too much. Pharmacotherapy of reflux entails neutralizing gastric acid with meds like tums, Pepcid (famotidine) or Prilosec - all otc. Good luck!
