A member asked:

Can you please tell me how running and walking differ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

2 feet off ground: Olympic race walkers have to always have one foot on the ground. Runners leave the ground with both feet. Both activities burn calories, but it usually takes longer (time of exercising) to burn as many calories while running walking can be lower impact, so might be preferable for people who have joint issues best wishes!
