Yes: Esentially the shoes are rubbing on the baby toes. The more the lesser toes deviate laterally, the more the lesser toes will contact with the shoe and cause localized irritation.

Toes: You might have hammertoes or abductovarus of the digits. Check with podiatrist they will be able to tell.
